Clint and I first met when he was serving his mission for the LDS church. He served in the West Virginia-Charleston Mission, that covered the area where I was living (Radford, Virginia). Clint is 6 yrs. my senior, so when he was on his mission, I was a trouble making 14 yr. old. Now, before anyone freaks, no we did not develop any relationships while he was on the mish. He did, however, keep in contact with my parents after his release. When he found out my Dad was being transfered back to Utah, he couldn't wait to come visit. Well by the time we actually moved, I was approaching my 17th birthday. I was very confused why my parents were making me move away from my High School, my life, my cheerleading, etc.. etc.. I mean I only had one year to go--then I would graduate. I did have the opportunity to live with a family, and finish my senior year in Virginia. When it came down to it...I felt strongly that I needed to stay in Utah. Clint came up to visit my parents one afternoon. Of course I was being the "drama queen". My Dad told Clint he would pay him to take me out on a date. Clint refused the money, but said he would love to get me out of the house. Our first date was to Lagoon. I knew then that I would more then likely end up marrying him. Although, Clint wasn't so sure at the time. (It was the whole age difference) So I started my senior year at a new school, with new people, and new experiences. Clint and I continued dating, then in March he asked me to marry him. I said "YES" of course. We were married two weeks after I graduated from high school. I was only 17, my Dad had to sign me away. We both loved the Salt Lake Temple, and decided to become each others for eternity there.

We have been blessed to bring 4 children into this world. {Preston} is our oldest. He is active, smart, fun to play with, and usually test our knowledge everyday. {Tyson} is our busy boy, he is curious, and mischevious. He will start Kindergarten this fall. He keeps me on my toes, he is full of energy, and loves T.V. Then there is our "little miss attitude" {Addyson} she loves babies, princesses, make-ups, nail polish, doing my hair, singing songs, and playing dress up. Sweet baby {Kaitlon} joined us last summer. She was the best surprise I have ever had! She is babling, growing, trying to crawl, and waving. She loves it when Daddy tickles her, and gets in screaming contests with us (seriuosly)!
I wish I could say that it has been a fairy tale, being married, and raising children. Unfortunetly-- this is real life. We have our share of struggles, and trials. Although, through it all we grow closer together. I am so grateful that I have the oppurtunity to be a mom, and raise these kids, learn, and get to smooch my hubby every day!
