Official!

It's OFFICIALLY our home!!
We move in next weekend and will definitely need some help.
(Expect phone calls, family members, :].)
I am really looking forward to getting in and getting settled. Everyone who has seen the house just adores it and we are super excited that it's ours. Did I mention it has 3.5 bathrooms?! Holy cow!! We are so used to sharing one bathroom between the 6 of us that this is truly a blessing. Not to mention my bathroom has a ginormous tub! (EEEP!) Other exciting features; the completely fenced yard, (So excited to have that!) The beautiful gas fireplace, (Well it will be beautiful after I remodel it a little!!) and the attached garage (never had one of those)!! I am really grateful we were able to find a home that meets our needs and budget. Things will be a little tighter then they have been lately with the increase in our house payment, but I am super excited for this new journey!
~~~~~
With that said, we are so sad to leave this ward. Several of you that read my blog are our ward members. I just want you to know that we will miss you guys tons! We have made so many great friendships over the past few years with several of you. Thank you for your kindness, love, help with my kids, and friendship. We are truly blessed to have known each of you. We know that we will be able to keep in touch through facebook and blogging--and hope that you will keep in touch with us too!
Scratch That Idea & Sorry We've Been Busy
Well you probably all thought I fell off the face of the earth lately. I am still here. I figured I would catch my blogging up to the point right before the 4th of July. Then I will resume my catch up from that point.
We have been super busy this summer. I have been working some crazy hours. I hate it. That to me is the worst part of my job! It's been a weird summer and they can't seem to keep me on a consistent schedule.
The house we made an offer on didn't work out. So we are scratching the house from our list. I guess it keeps us in our ward that much longer. Now it's back to the "House Hunting".
Hope you guys are still having a great summer!
Oh, has anyone had trouble with blogger lately? When I post pictures and try to space them it goes all funky. Then I can't fix it. And at the top of my page it says 'Sign In' instead of 'Dashboard'. It's just really weird.
Yes, it's true.
If you see the 'For Sale' sign and wonder what's going on--I will fill you in here. My Dad has decided to sell his house. Which means...we have to move. We were told we couldn't buy the house, because of the way it's being sold. Then we were told we could, but there are extra hoops to jump through. As of right now it looks like we will be moving. We can stay here until the home sells, obviously. Which I wont lie--it can take it's time and I won't mind. I feel so lost right now. Not knowing where to go, what's best for our budget, changing schools. It's very stressful. I just hope we can figure it all out before school starts in August!
the PAGE gadget...
I'm not sure if any of you have noticed the new page gadget that blogger has. I tried, and tried to figure out how to use it. Then finally after talking with a friend we figured it out. You are all probably like...WHAT? So let me explain. If you notice under my blog header, there are 2 links now. One that says {Home} , and another that says {Our Story}. Those are pages. You can add up to 10 per blog. So how do you get these?? Let me explain...
•••••
First: Click Customize, so it brings up your Layout page.
Second: Click on the Postings Tab
Third: Click the tab box that says Edit Pages (It will then tell you, you don't have any pages--then give you a blue box that says NEW PAGE or Learn More.
Fourth: Click the New Page box. That will pull up a page similar to your Post page. Where you can create pages.
Once your page is created it gives you the option of where you want it. On your side bar, or at the top under header. I believe you can put it anywhere, you can add a gadget.
•••••
So you can check out mine. My {Home} is where I have all of my blog posts (where you are reading this). {Our Story} is the page that tells our story. I will be adding more, but it's a start. I have also been doing this for my Dad on his blog. If you want to see a different style http://drmarkadennison.blogspot.com/ . I hope this helps. I just hate to see somebody waist there day trying to figure it out like I did. GOOD LUCK!!! Let me know if you have questions. :)
Going Private...
So, after several weeks of debating with myself over this issue, I have decided to make my blog private. I just keep thinking I put so much private info., and pictures of my kids, etc... I just get worried. I want to believe we live in an innocent world, but it's not always true. Is it?! So hopefully I have emailed everyone with an invite, but I am sure I will think of others. :)
Better Blogging
When I opened up the October Ensign today, I noticed an article called 'Better Blogging'. I thought it was neat, good ideas, and tips. Especially on safety. Then there was another article about being a missionary through blogging. I thought they were neat. So if you blog, and read the Ensign you should check it out! :)
Letter Formation Sayings
alphabet Pictures, Images and PhotosThis blog post is for all of you that I have taught with over the years, and all of you that have kids learning to write! Preston still struggles with lowercase d, and lowercase b. When he writes a lot of times, he flip flops them in the word. For example the word "down" he has a tendency to write it as "bown". He started spelling tests this week. I was so worried that he was going to flip flop the letters, then mis-spell. So I found a website that has cute little sayings to help children remember letter formation. It seemed to help him as we were mock testing this week. I just wanted to share! This is the preschool teacher in me!! I hate to see kids struggle, and try to come up with ways to help them love learning. So if you're in my situation or will be soon, or you teach I recommend checking it out! :) http://www.littlegiraffes.com/abc_letterformationpoems.html
