Word got out that Clint was speaking with an attorney, concerning what happened with his job. It kinda got the higher management a little nervous, because during the conference call they did make a different offer to Clint. They told him he could come back to work, on the GRAVEYARD/WEEKEND shift--until he can find a new job.
Okay, so maybe it's just me, but I am pretty sure this is what they are thinking:"Oh, no! He could make a big stink. And we don't need that. Hmm, I know. Let's put Clint on graveyard/weekends. That way none of us have to deal with him. Or feel ashamed or guilty for the way we are treating him."
Clint has decided to keep doing that--because that job is better then no job. However his hours are being cut. We are PRAYING something comes along for him before Christmas. (Christmas falls on the weekend) I appreciate all of you that have spoken with us, and offered kind words, and friendship. It means a lot to us. I will keep you updated.

Got Thanksgiving Leftovers...
...make casserole!
I love using our leftovers for this quick, simple meal. Here is what you do:~INGREDIENTS~
-Prepared Stuffing
-Mixed Veggies
-1 to 2 jars of Turkey Gravy (or your leftover gravy)
-Approx. 2 cups of chopped Turkey
~DIRECTIONS~
-In casserole dish...mix turkey, veggies, and gravy. Top with prepared stuffing.
-Bake at 350○ for 25-30 minutes, or until it's completely warmed.
-Serve with rolls, and enjoy!
November 21st-November 28th Part 2

Addy turned 3 on Friday!! She is growing up so fast!! As much as I love it, I hate it! She loves dress-up, make up, and being a girl! I wanted to get her a vanity for her birthday, and have known this for several months. So last June, I found that one at Kid to Kid. It was perfect!! She loves it, and I love watching her play with it. Addy picked pizza for dinner, and then we had cake! It was so low key, and so nice. I was still really tired!!

Since I was home, with one child, who slept the whole time... I put up Christmas. Okay, I already had our tree up for weeks. But I was able to get most of our decor up. This year we ended up with lot's of trees. My mom bought Addy that hot pink tree for her birthday. Then my boys talked to her into buying them one too. I also decorated my little pine trees up this year. I used extra raffia I had, and made bows to keep that "woodsy/forest" theme going. I love decorating for the holidays!-Harry Potter-
A couple weeks ago, my brother took me to the Deathly Hollows. So we spent the past week re-watching all of the Harry Potter movies. I have only read book 1 through half of book number 4, but after re-watching the movies. I am ready to start over, and read them all. It will take me forever, but I am kinda looking forward to it. I want to read them with Preston and Tyson. They watched the 1st & 2nd movies with us, and they have been running around the house casting spells on everything. I do know how everything ends, but I know the movies leave out a lot...and kinda want to "fill in the blanks". After watching Harry Potter, over and over, I have decided all mothers should have a magic wand!!November 21st-28th PART 1
This week has been a doozie here in our household. There is no better way to explain it!! So since I have been neglecting our blog, I figured I would just blog the week into 2 parts. So here we go...

We geared up this week for Utah's "BIG" Blizzard. We went and bought water, candles, and cuddled up while we waited for it to hit. It was windy, and snowy. However, it was not the Blizzard I thought we would have. It was a nice excuse to stay up late and watch Christmas movies though.

The night before Thanksgiving, I was told, my husband no longer had a job. He had known for several days, but to protect my sanity wasn't telling me. To make a very complicated, long story, very short I will give you the condensed version. The business that Clint worked for also employed my Father, and my brother. My Dad after several months decided that his values, ethics, and personality could no longer work for this company. Which caused an up roar with the higher management. We knew then things weren't going to be pretty (which is why I was so upset a few weeks ago). We geared up for the worst, and the next week she let my brother go. Clint continued to work, and thought he was safe. Until recently, where she decided to let him go as well. We have spoken with an attorney, but it would be hard to prove that Clint was let go--due to the fact that she is upset with my Dad. He is going to try to fight it, mainly to just keep a job through the next month. Although, it doesn't seem promising. I ask for your prayers, and if anyone knows of any jobs, PLEASE. PLEASE. call us or email me. c2001d@hotmail.com It is a rough economy, and I fear for our little family the next little while. I do however, have faith that the Lord will lead us where we need to be.

I am a big looser this year. I got the kids dressed all cute, and tried to be spirited, alas I couldn't find the energy! So no Thanksgiving Day pictures. We did have a very good holiday. Clint was still at work, so I was sad not to have him there. We ate, played games, watched movies, and spent time with family. I also mapped out my night of shopping.

Last year, I decided, it was too hard to get up to get in line for stuff. So my brilliant idea was to stay up all night this year. Yes, I did it. Yes, I survived. I know you are all probably thinking "Your husband just lost his job, and your spending money?!" Okay maybe you aren't thinking that, but I was. I have been saving for MONTHS, everything I could so we could have a nice Christmas. It was very hard to be in the mood to shop. I did manage to find mostly everything I wanted, and was able to finish Christmas shopping for my kids. My brother was a trooper, standing by DS games, ready to fight his way in. He did get yelled at by a few people. My good friend also helped me get killer steal on a couple of Wii games for $10.00 each. While I waited next to a Jessie Doll (from Toy Story). I couldn't have done it without them!! I was yelled at once, around 6 am, where exhaustion had settled in. I had done nothing wrong, and this lady was just plain being cruel. Yes, I did yell back. Then I went home, settled into bed, and took a 4 hour nap. (I didn't take that picture--but that's pretty much how Toys R Us was. A little more organized.)

Thankful Week 4
With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I have been pondering more and more, about what I am truly thankful for in life. So here is this weeks list!
#1- Life! I am thankful to wake up everyday, and be alive.
#2- Trials. I never thought of trials as a blessing, or something to be thankful for, until someone made a comment today... We are given trials, to learn and grow. However, the Lord gives us the ability to work through them. Most of the time we come out stronger, and better. It reminds me of the saying... "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." Do I love trials? No. But I am thankful for what I learn from them.
#3- The Book of Mormon.
#4- Electricity. I would have NEVER made it as a Pioneer.
#5- Forgiveness. The ability to forgive, and be forgiven.
#6- Date Night!!!
#7- Christmas. I changed my blog already to celebrate the holiday. Clint hates that I "put up" Christmas before Thanksgiving. Christmas just means a lot to me. My Christmases growing up were so special, and I have so many fond memories of those times. Most of it having to do with family. There is a greater meaning behind Christmas, and that is the fact that we celebrate the birth of our Savior. I am thankful for his life, and all that he has taught us.

Thankful Week #3
I wont lie, I am having a little trouble feeling thankful this week. We got some terrible news. Well more like several terrible news updates. However, none of it is the end of the world. I am sure one way or another we will pull through. So with that said, I know I need to quit crying, being onry, and be thankful. So here is week #3:
#1- ADDYSON. Her being my first born daughter, will never know how badly she was wanted. I have had many ups & downs in my own relationship with my Mother. So I was so excited to have a daughter to be able to have those Mother/Daughter memories with. I love her dearly. She has become my little "mini-me". I love watching her grow up, and I am enjoying this wonderful stage (3-5 yr. old little girl--my favorite age!) we are about to embark on. She always makes me laugh.
#2- PRESTON. Oh, not loving the 8 yr. old attitude. But I love Preston. I am so proud of his choices, his talents, his abilities. He baffles my mind, and makes me feel like a complete idiot from time to time. (He asks some very advanced questions.) He is such a good big brother, and a great helper when he wants to be one!! :)
#3- KAITLON. I have got to quit saying this, but she was my best SURPRISE ever!! I didn't know how much I needed her in my life, until she arrived. Her sweet spirit, and fun personality enrich my life. She makes me want to do better, and be better. It's just something about her. I am so very blessed to have her here with me.
#4- TYSON. I love that Tyson loves me so much! He never fails to show me, I get pictures, hugs, kisses, stories, you name it!! He always cheers me up!! I love him bunches, and I am proud him. He loves everyone, and is kind to others. He has a silly personality, and has no fear!! He is such a good boy. Our family wouldn't be complete without him!
#5- Chocolate & Coke!
#6- My brothers. They are awesome. I love that they live with us, and honestly, it doesn't bother me. They are so good to my kids, and so much fun to be around. We miss David, and can't wait to have him home. (In less then a year--he hit his 1 yr. mark last week!!)
#7- Sleep! I am grateful for interrupted nights of sleep. Which between 4 kids, the husband, and the dog. I don't get much of interrupted nights of sleep!!

Tyson & Addy's Birthday Party
We had a Toy Story themed Birthday Party for Tyson & Addy. We had to do their birthdays together this year. We played darts, had an obstacle course, and pin the parts on the potato. We also ordered Pizza Planet Pizza a.k.a Little Caeser's. We made alien cupcakes, and drank green alien juice. It was a LOT of fun! We were very glad to have friends over, and are very thankful for everyone who came!!

My Dad, Addyson, and Tyson all have birthdays very close to each other. So we had a little party this weekend for them.
Tyson turned 6!!!
Tyson turned 6, and we celebrated by having a fun family dinner at home. He wanted Birthday Brownies this year!! :)

Thankful Week # 2
#1- I am thankful for coupons, and being able to get things I want and need. (I got a killer deal on Christmas jammies yesterday, and I am so excited)
#2- Clint! I have been sostressedtired lately. I feel like I live in my car, I run from point A to point B then back again. Clint tries as much as he can to help that. However, it just isn't always feasible. Yesterday, he skipped school, so I could take the day off. It was amazing. Not only was I gone for over 8 hours of the day, but I actually got to go to Relief Society (which never happens). Then I was able to go to the Desert Star Theater, and laugh!! When I got home he was CLEANING, what?! My house was pretty clean. I wasn't thrilled about him skipping school, but was grateful for the much needed break. I really appreciate all the hard work he does for us. (He is looking for a job in Utah, please let us know --if you know of anything.)
#3- Friends!! I so appreciate friends. Even if it's just a call up to check on me, a comment on our blog, or a text, a friendly wave, or getting together for a good laugh. I have so many wonderful friends, and know so many wonderful women.
#4- Talents. I love my talents; home decorating, paper crafting, scrapbooking, singing (shh-don't tell anyone), crafts in general (except sewing), organizing (oh,yes--that is a talent), teaching. I wish I could do more talented things, or spend more time developing my talents. It just makes me happy to know that I have been given these blessings.
#5- I am thankful for the opportunity I have had to live in and visit several areas of this beautiful country. There is so much out there, some that I have never even seen. History, and beauty all around us. I have lived in Oregon, Washington, Utah, Virginia. Each place is so unique, and so different in culture. (Especially when you go from the East to the West) Sometimes I think to myself... oh Paris would be fun to visit, Africa would be neat, and yes that is true. BUT I love exploring, and seeing all the beautiful wonders that are here in the USA.
#6- Which makes me grateful for the fact that we are a free country. I am thankful to live here. I am thankful to those who fight for our Freedom.
#7- Primary Music. We just recently had a program, and I love the songs we sang. Each one was so sweet, pure, and true. I can't help but tear up. I love to feel the spirit through the music of our gospel.

The Winner is...
Remember this post, BOX TOPS? I got an email today letting me know that Preston's class was the winner of the contest!!! :) We're saving up for the next contest!! :)
Thankful...Week 1
I was going to do the traditional write everyday what your thankful for, but I just don't see it happening. Then I decided I would post 7 things, one for each day, every week until Thanksgiving. Much better idea!! :)
#1- My Dad. He tops the list! I am so thankful for all he has done, and continues to do for me!
#2- My health. It isn't necessarily the BEST, I still have lots of weight to loose. But I am grateful that I can get up everyday, and my parts all work! :)
#3- My beliefs, and values. I can't imagine life without the Savior, and the gospel.
#4- Sister in Laws, because they just rock!! And they just make things so much fun.
#5- Letters from Missionaries. There is just something so neat about missionary mail, it touches my heart!
#6- Laughing, I am so thankful I can laugh about things. It sure makes this life easier.
#7- Technology. Being able to do this blog, and write down our memories!!
