Trick-or-Treat...Smell my feet...
BOO at the ZOO!
We started our Halloween Celebrations with Trick-or-Treating at the zoo! Since we have a membership, we thought it would be really fun for a change. The kids had a great time, we got lot's of candy, the weather was not too hot or too cold, and the animals were really active. Except the Monkeys they must have been tired. It was a great way to start the day, but holy cow it was PACKED!!

Parades & Pumpkins
We carved pumpkins tonight. I was glad we got around to them, cause we were running out of time! I bought the Pumpkin Carving Cricut Cartridge a while back, and was so excited to use it. It basically cuts a stencil for you to use while carving. Monday, October 25, 2010

Costume Sneak Peek
This year we are all going as bugs for Halloween! I have been very excited about this, because I am making Clint dress up with us this year! So here is a sneak peek of our costumes… Addyson is the Bumblebee. (Had to snap a couple of her hair!! ;]) Tyson is a Spider. Kaitlon is our Ladybug, cause she is our Katie Bug. Preston is a Fly. I am dressing up as a Butterfly. The reason I am so excited about Clint’s costume… he is going as the Orkin Man/Bug Exterminator. I can’t wait to get us all dressed up together. In the meantime we had a Halloween Party to go to, and couldn’t resist some snapshots of the kids!!

A Haunted House!

A friend of mine bought the kids a Haunted House Kit. It's just like a Gingerbread house, but for Halloween. It was a lot of fun to put together...and I hate putting Gingerbread Houses together! They always fall over. This one was staying up pretty well, then it started to cave in. So I pulled out the hot glue gun! I am glad that I did, we got a little carried away with it, and made spider webs! It was a fun afternoon. The kids had a blast, and it was a great after school activity. Our neighbor, and Tyson's best friend helped too!!! :) It is now our table centerpiece!! ;)

A Frightening Good Time
Oh, Lagoon. Frightmares. Another favorite Halloween activity of ours. This year we scored GREAT discount passes. A friend of mine, knows someone, and we got in for $10.00/person. Who can beat that?! I was so excited. It only cost $63.20 for all of us-- to spend a day basking in the excitement.
Since it’s been like 105 degrees outside, we were able to enjoy all of the wonderful water rides.
This picture has a funny story. Clint was on stroller duty 1/2 of the day, and I was on stroller duty 1/2 of the day. So this picture, was me yelling at Clint. I was letting him know that the item that a kind stranger had just returned to us, was yet again laying on the ground. We visited the Lost and Found, too. Luckily, all was found and returned to us!
The rides were as fun, as they always are. Addy did participate this year. And LOVED. IT. Since we only had to pay $10.00 for Kaitlon, we got her a pass as well. She loved every ride, but the whales. Preston is still my dare devil, riding everything he could. Tyson was 2 inches too short still. He is looking forward to next year! But still had. a. blast.
The spook alleys, and trick-or-treat walk thrus were so fun. The kids loved them. Addyson-- loved the princesses, and fairies.
It wouldn’t be Frightmares without our picture with the Monsters. I think it’s going to for sure be a tradition!! The music was fun, and the kids loved the entertainment. We had a really fun time.
Happy Halloween!!
(The pictures in my header were also taken at Lagoon)
