Wednesday: Oh, that day was fun! NOT!! One of my co-workers didn't show for work. Which meant they had to cover her. I spent all day at work--literally. I even had to pick Preston and Tyson up from school and take them back with me. Which never happens. Oh man! I was tired. After work, I had to help a friend pick some things out for a project, so I didn't get home until 9:30pm. Sunday, March 20, 2011

St. Patrick’s Day
The Leprechaun snuck into our house today. He left his hands, and footprints everywhere. The kids had to follow the trail. Once they got to the end of the footprints, there was a pot of Gold candy at the end. It also had some green beads for Addy, and some green bouncy balls for the boys! The Leprechaun even left the kids all a golden dollar!! Which was very exciting. Then I made yummy dinner! We stuck with our tradition of green food meals. I would rather not dye anything, it creeps me out!! So for dinner I made Smothered Burritos in Green Chili Sauce. They were really yummy!! Click here for the recipe. I served spanish rice, green salad, chips & green salsa. As a drink we had limeade’s (sprite & limes). Then we had Thin Mint ice cream, with a thin mint cookie on top. Yay for girl scout cookies! Then we used our plastic green dishes to make a festive table setting! After dinner, we watched The Princess and the Frog. (Since frog’s are green…only kidding we rented it, and needed to get it back!)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
