And here I thought she was BIG!!!

Today was Kaitlon's well baby check. I honestly thought my daughter was a big baby. I mean...she is the BIGGEST baby I have ever had. No..no..I guess I was wrong. Here are her stats:
Weight: 17.5lbs which is the 3rd percentile
Height: 27 inches which is the 5Th percentile
Head Circumference: 44.5 CM which is the 30Th percentile
So apparently she is small for her age. Could-a fooled me! She's HEAVY!!
I did get yelled at by the nutritionist, and the Doctor about this issue:THE BOTTLE!!!
I'm sorry, I just don't feel like listening to her cry for it. :( I guess I'm a terrible Mom, and we will be fixing this behavior. She has no teeth yet. So if she doesn't have one by 15 months...I guess we have a problem. Has anyone else ever had this issue? My teeth came in late. I guess I just don't understand how it will be fixed if she doesn't get any.

A “Berry” Happy Birthday!

Kaitlon turned 1 on Saturday! 003   012 011050 054 059061  070   077      001074                 076007 008 006

For her birthday we went to the Riverdale Park & Splash Pad. It was a lot of fun! We had tons of family come! I did a Strawberry Themed party. I know…what 1 year old needs a huge party?! I can’t help it! I tried to keep it simple, and then the Party Planner in me comes out. I made her cake this year. I actually did it without any help! (I’m a little proud) I also made her cupcakes, and the cupcake toppers.  I kept the polka-dot, strawberry, red theme for everything. From her swimsuit to her wrapping paper. (Which was left over from Christmas) Then I gave out little party favors. They said, “It was “Berry” sweet of you to come to my party. Love, Kaitlon” I filled them with a variety of Strawberry Candy. We did Strawberry Lemonade Slushies, but it was warm enough that the slushie didn’t stay slushed. She got lot’s of clothes!! A pop up toy!! A baby swing set!! Then she also got her first baby!! I did learn a lesson from this, don’t plan a party during naptime! And don’t forget the poor baby’s bottle! :/ ~Live & Learn~ Thanks again to EVERYONE who came, and supported us. I can’t believe she turned 1. It makes me a little sad. I think it’s made me realize I will probably have more children, but NOT for a long time! :) Happy “Berry” 1st Birthday Kaitlon!! We love you!

Riverdale Park & Splash Pad

For Kaitlon's birthday we celebrated at the Riverdale Park & Splash Pad. I love these things. I wish North Ogden had one. (Other then the pool) It's free to play, and the kids LOVE it! I am doing a separate post of Kaitlon's party, but I wanted to stick these on here. The kids have so much fun with their cousins!!

And we're back....

Well it's been over a year...and my yard looks like a junk yard. So I put my foot down, budgeted the money out, and we Clint is finally finishing the clubhouse! The boys are so very happy! Plus, it's been a good summer activity for them. So, hopefully, within the next few days...it will be completed, and we will have a clubhouse.

Addyson does the Funniest Things!

002001

Addyson is becoming such a girlie-girl! I am LOVING every minute of it too! My favorite age to teach preschool is ages 3-5. Addy is just right around the corner from turning 3! She loves the color pink, and she adores those pink flip flops! I went to check on her this evening after putting her to bed. There they were-- on her feet!! She must have gotten out of bed, gone to the closet, and put them on. I don’t think many 2 yr. olds do that! :)

I have been meaning to blog about some cute things she has been doing lately. So here they are:

Sunday, during Sacrament Meeting, she finds a crayon. She then starts to “paint” A.J.’s fingernails. Then she says, “They have to dry.” , and begins blowing them for him. Then after she finishes…she looks at him, and says, “Now your toes!”

Lately if I ask Addyson for help, she looks at me and says, “I can’t. I’m busy. And I have had a long day!”

My favorite…I have been getting migraines really bad recently. So the other night I had one. The kids wanted to go somewhere, and I told them my head was hurting, blah, blah, blah. So the next morning she says, “Is your headache gone?—Cause mine headache is hurting.”

She is growing up before my eyes! I love her bunches!!

Anyway, I just wanted to spread the word, about the blog. She has tons of ideas/recipes on there!! I have a few. ;) I did, however, post a couple today if you want to take a look! TUMMY YUMMY'S

2 Cool Dads!

001 Today was Father’s Day! We celebrated by just spending time together as a family! The kids just adore their Daddy. I think he is a wonderful Father. He is really just a big kid at heart, and I think that is why the kids love spending time with him. For Father’s Day we got Clint some new clothes. We never buy clothes for ourselves anymore. It’s always for the kids!! So Clint needed a couple new outfits. JC Penney has some amazing deals from time to time! I had 2 coupons…one for $10.00 off a $10.00 purchase, and one for $10.00 of a $25.00 purchase. So I made A.J. come with me. I picked out a shirt for $12.00, and had A.J. pay for it. He used the $10.00 off and ended up paying $3.00 total with tax. I picked out another shirt, and 2 pairs of shorts that were on sale. Even with the sale price it came to $29.00. So I used the other coupon and spent $19.00. My receipt said a total of $85.00 in savings! I was blown away!! I got him 2 outfits for $22.00. I was pretty excited!!! :) The kids also sang to him in church, and made little gifts in Primary/Nursery.002 Clint actually made breakfast for all of us, but I did make him a BIG dinner. BBQ Ribs, baked potatoes, green salad, fruit salad, pink lemonade, and Brownies for dessert! It was delicious. I haven’t cooked like that in a while! bonusCard2010 Oh, one other cool thing! When I got home from church I received a phone call from Applebee’s in American Fork. We ate there with Clint’s family last Monday, after our St. George trip. They had given the kids little pictures to color, and write what they loved about their Dad. We had no idea we were being entered in a contest. Addy’s picture was picked, and she won her Dad a gift card to Applebee’s. So that was kind of neat! She wrote (with my help) “I love my Daddy, because I am wrapped around his finger!” Clint is going to pick up his gift card, and get his picture taken on his way to work tonight!034 Since it’s Father’s Day… Words cannot express the gratitude I have for my Father. I love him more then he will ever know. His love for me has always been strong, and powerful. He as taught me so much through his example. I am grateful he raised me with the gospel. That he took time to teach me, share his dreams with me, listen to me. He has been patient, and understanding. Heaven knows, I wasn’t always the easiest child. :) My Father is my hero. An inspiration to me. My friend. He has been there for me in my darkest hour, and my happiest moments. I am grateful for the bond we have, and I am a Daddy’s girl 4-ever!! ;) Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. I love you!

Summer "Stay-cation" Day 5

Saturday: Making a splash at North Shore.
Swimming is a favorite around here!! After much debate we decided that the local swimming pool would be more affordable, and better then a water park this time. Which I am very grateful we did this instead, because after an hour and a half--they were done! It's still a little chilly. I am looking forward to some good swimming days. Preston did the lazy river all by himself. He wore his life vest and was good to go. Tyson still enjoyed the smaller slides, and shallow ends. Katie Bug loved it!! Addyson was freaked this time. I guess it's been a while since we have gone swimming. I was glad to have Clint there, and Uncle A.J. and Grammie came. The kids just adore their Daddy! It was a fun way to end our week of adventures!

Summer "Stay-cation" Day 4

Thursday: Toy Story 3.
I think today was my favorite day so far. Since Daddy was home from work he was able to be with us! Grammie & Uncle A.J. tagged along too. Luckily Grammie, A.J., Preston, and Tyson saw the whole movie...while Clint and I fought with the girls! Oh well!! :) It was really cute! A very good ending to the Toy Story Saga. Which is a FAVORITE here at our house. :) Did I mention the theater was packed. The guy at the ticket booth said all of the evening/afternoon shows were SOLD OUT!

Summer "Stay-cation" Day 3

Thursday: Play Group & Bowling!!
I was so excited we actually got to go to play group with our ward. That is one disadvantage of me working. I ALWAYS miss our ward play groups. So I put that on our priority list for this week. I have grown to love our ward soo much, and have gotten to know so many wonderful women in our ward. A lot of them through reading their blogs! :) I am grateful for our friendships, and think you guys are some of the greatest women I know! We had fun chatting, and eating lunch! Preston had a quick, and fun ice blocking experience. He is now looking forward to trying that out again!
After play group, we went bowling! Fat Cats has a program that kids can bowl 2 free games everyday. (Monday-Friday from 9-5) So we tried it out. The kids had fun. I sat there, because my turns were mainly taken by Addyson. Which was okay--she bowls better then I do! Even with me using bumpers!

Game 1 scores!

Game 2 scores!

Oh, if any of you end up trying out this free bowling...the shoes aren't free. It's still $2.49 per child to rent shoes.

Summer "Stay-cation" Day 2

Wednesday: The Living Planet Aquarium.
So much fun! My kids had a blast!! All 4 of them. I recommend going!! We spent about $50.00 total. Which got us in, and fed us lunch in their cafe. It was yummy food, but over priced. They had animals to touch, games to play, and story time. It was a blast!!
The Jellie Fish ROCKED!!

My favorite part...they came home and made their own aquarium with a map. These are very detailed maps. They include restrooms, and an exit!
